Discover moreAs is tradition, the Tour of the Alps final stage is compact — 128.6 kilometres from Trento to Bozen/Bolzano — yet holds enough sting to upend the general classification. After only five kilometres, the road kicks up to Palù di Giovo, site of an intermediate sprint, before dropping back to the valley and rising along the Weinstraße/Strada del Vino. At Kaltern/Caldaro, the profile changes again with the ascent to Kalterer Hohe/Alta di Caldaro — a second-category KOM (4.4 km at 6.6%).
A fast, wide-road descent follows, then a flat run to the first passage across the Bozen/Bolzano finish line with 50 kilometres still to go. Leaving the city, the riders head towards Jenesien/San Genesio but, after the opening 3.5 kilometres of climbing, turn left onto a 19-kilometre circuit to be completed twice, featuring the first-category KOM of Nobls/Montoppio (9.2 km at 6.2%). Over the top, three twisty, rolling kilometres lead to the final intermediate sprint with time bonuses on the second passage through Oberglaning/Cologna di Sopra, before a last, very fast descent to the finish in Bozen/Bolzano, where the winner of the 2026 Tour of the Alps will be crowned.
