Over the course of its ten-year history, Tour of the Alps has become a landmark on the spring cycling calendar, helping define a new model of event along the way. Since 2017, Melinda has supported the euro-regional stage race throughout its growth path, building on a relationship whose roots go back to the days of Giro del Trentino.
Some partnerships grow over time, strengthen year after year, and eventually become an integral part of an event’s identity. The bond between Tour of the Alps – scheduled from April 20th to 24th, 2026, across Tirol, Südtirol/Alto Adige and Trentino – and Melinda unquestionably belongs in that category.
In 2026, the Val di Non (Trentino) consortium will once again be a Top Partner of the event organised by Sport Alto Garda. The agreement was sealed by Infront, Tour of the Alps’ strategic partner for marketing and commercial rights as well as TV production. Once again, the Melinda brand will appear on the Melinda Green Jersey, the symbol of the overall lead and one of the race’s most distinctive elements.
Following an important year in which Melinda inaugurated, in the presence of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, its groundbreaking “Apple Cableway” – created to improve the storage process of apples in underground chambers carved into the rock – the 2026 #TotA route will also pass through Val di Non, the productive heart of the consortium, during stage 3 from Latsch/Laces to Arco.
“Melinda has stood alongside Tour of the Alps since its very beginning because the race authentically reflects the values that guide our work every day: a deep bond with the Alpine territory, respect for the environment, and the promotion of a healthy, active lifestyle. It is an event with which the Melinda brand shares a strong affinity of values – sustainability, collaboration, and deep roots in our communities – and it gives us the opportunity to tell the world about the identity and quality of our territory,” said Melinda Marketing Manager Andrea Fedrizzi.
“I have seen this partnership come to life and grow over the years. From Giro del Trentino to Tour of the Alps, Melinda has always stood by our side with consistency and vision, believing in the value of a kind of cycling that is deeply connected to its territory. The Green Jersey is not just a symbol of leadership – it also conveys an authentic message linking the event, the environment and the community,” commented Tour of the Alps General Manager Maurizio Evangelista.
In 2026, Melinda and Tour of the Alps will celebrate ten years of collaboration across different eras and formats, while staying true to the same idea: making sport a vehicle to promote the territory, its excellence, and a healthy, active lifestyle. It is a success story that continues under the banner of green, the signature colour of Tour of the Alps.
