TotA official jerseys and road safety initiative unveiled in Bozen/Bolzano
With one month to go to the crowning of the #TotA 2026 winner, the Tour of the Alps gathered at headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce in Bozen/Bolzano to unveil the official leader jerseys designed by Alé Cycling. The euroregional event (20-24 April) also introduced Safe2Ride, a project aimed at promoting safe and responsible cycling among youngsters
Exactly one month out, the Tour of the Alps will crown its winner at the end of a five-stage journey covering 762 kilometres. Starting on April 20th in Tirol and finishing on April 24th in Südtirol/Alto Adige, the Euroregional race will also cross Trentino in its central stages.
To celebrate the decennial edition, the route will cross every capital city of the three regions. After the kick-off in Innsbruck, the peloton will race through Trento before reaching the grand finale in Bozen/Bolzano. And that’s where today, Tuesday, March 24th, at the headquarters of the local Chamber of Commerce, the Tour of the Alps presented further initiatives and updates for its 49th edition.
ALÉ CYCLING TO DRESS THE LEADERS OF TOUR OF THE ALPS
For the fifth consecutive year, Alé Cycling – a leading Italian cycling apparel brand with over 30 years of experience and Premium Partner of the Tour of the Alps – will design the jerseys awarded to the leaders of the four classifications and the most combative rider.
Once again, Melinda, Gruppo Cassa Centrale and FORST will sponsor respectively the Green Jersey for the General Classification, the Blue KOM Jersey, and the White Jersey for the Best Young Rider. The Red Jersey, awarded for the Points Classification, will be branded by Caffè Bocca della Verità. The Special Jersey for the most combative rider will be sponsored by eVISO, an energy provider that, through the eVISO GIRO app, allows cyclists to convert the energy produced during rides into discounts on electricity bills.
The Tour of the Alps thus strengthens its long-standing relationships with Melinda and Gruppo Cassa Centrale, while partnerships with FORST and Caffè Bocca della Verità, though more recent, are growing in content and initiatives. eVISO represents the new entry among the event’s partners, sponsoring the Special Jersey awarded to the rider covering the most kilometres in breakaways.
These agreements have been sealed by Infront, the strategic partner of the stage race organized by Sport Alto Garda, responsible for marketing and commercial rights as well as TV production.
The leaders will once again wear jerseys from Alé Cycling’s PR-R line. PR-R is the brand’s flagship custom range, also available to demanding amateur cyclists who choose the quality of the company based in Verona. The design is inspired by dynamism and energy – key characteristics of the Euro-regional stage race, known for its compact distances and intense racing from start to finish.
Official jerseys recap:
Green Jersey Melinda (General Classification)
Blue Jersey Gruppo Cassa Centrale (King of the Mountains)
Red Jersey Caffè Bocca della Verità (Points Classification)
White Jersey FORST (Best Young Rider – Under 25)

SAFE2RIDE: A COMMITMENT TO SAFE AND RESPONSIBLE CYCLING

SÜDTIROL/ALTO ADIGE IN THE SPOTLIGHT WITH THREE PIVOTAL DAYS
The 49th edition of the Tour of the Alps will feature three key days in Südtirol/Alto Adige: the uphill finish on Tuesday, April 21 in Martell/Val Martello, the start from Latsch/Laces on Wednesday, April 22, and the grand finale on Friday, April 24 in Bozen/Bolzano.
After the opening stage in Innsbruck, the second stage will start from Telfs and finish with an uphill arrival in Martell/Val Martello. The 147.5 km stage includes the first-category climb of Piller Höhe (9.2 km at 6%), followed by the Reschenpass/Passo Resia (15.8 km at 3.4%), before the final ascent to Martell/Val Martello: 6 km at 8%. This demanding finish was already decisive at the 2014 Giro d’Italia, when Nairo Quintana soloed to victory and took the race lead, laying the groundwork for his overall Giro triumph.
On Wednesday, April 22, the race resumes from Latsch/Laces, in the heart of the Vinschgau/Val Venosta, heading towards Trentino with a finish in Arco after 174.5 km. Before crossing into Trentino, riders will tackle the first-category Hofmahdjoch/Passo Castrin (22.2 km at 5.7%), the highest point of this edition and a natural border between the Provinces of Bozen/Bolzano and Trento.
After a fourth day entirely in Trentino, from Arco to Trento, the final stage on Friday, April 24 (128.6 km) will bring the peloton from Trento to Bozen/Bolzano. After entering Südtirol/Alto Adige early in the stage, riders will follow the Strada del Vino/Weinstraße to Kaltern/Caldaro, climbing Kaltern Höhe/Caldaro Alta (4.4 km at 6.6%).
With 50 km to go, the race will pass under the Bozen/Bolzano finish line for the first time, before tackling a demanding final circuit: a 19 km loop to be repeated twice, featuring the Nobls/Montoppio climb (9.2 km at 6.2%). A fast descent will then lead to the finish in Bozen/Bolzano, where the winner of the Tour of the Alps 2026 will be crowned in exactly one month from now.
