Festina sets the tempo for Tour of the Alps 2026
The renowned watch brand is the new Official Timekeeper of the euro-regional stage race. Tour of the Alps adds to a prestigious list of partnerships that have previously seen Festina alongside Tour de France, Tour de Suisse and Tour de Romandie
In cycling, every second counts. Just a few moments can separate the glory of victory from a podium finish — which is why precision and reliability in timekeeping are essential. From 2026, Festina will mark time on the climbs of the Euregio Tirol–Südtirol/Alto Adige–Trentino. Founded in Switzerland in 1902 and now Spanish-owned, the historic brand becomes the new Official Timekeeper of Tour of the Alps.
The sponsorship agreement, brokered by Infront — strategic partner of Tour of the Alps for marketing, commercial rights and TV production — brings together the stage race scheduled from April 20th to 24th and a brand long associated with the world of cycling. Beyond its role as title sponsor of a professional team in the 1990s, Festina has also served as Official Timekeeper at some of the most prestigious events in international cycling, including Tour de France, Tour de Suisse and Tour de Romandie.
Ranked among the world’s top 100 luxury companies, Festina stands as a benchmark name in watchmaking, with more than five million watches sold each year. The company operates subsidiaries in over 90 countries worldwide, from Europe to South America. An international structure built on innovation and quality, delivering precision and reliability across its product range — values that find one of their most natural expressions in sport.
“The Tour of the Alps represents the ideal setting in which to express the values that have always guided Festina: precision, reliability and passion,” said Lucia Carbonato, Head of Marketing at Festina Italy. “Sport, together with cinema, is one of the arenas in which our brand has consistently found its fullest expression — worlds in which time is not merely a technical measure, but a narrative element rich in emotion and meaning. Being Official Timekeeper of such an authentic and prestigious event as Tour of the Alps means being present at every decisive moment, supporting excellence, performance and the value of shared experience.”
“We are delighted to welcome Festina among the partners of Tour of the Alps,” said General Manager Maurizio Evangelista. “In a stage race like ours, where details and mere seconds often make the difference, being able to rely on a partner of international standing represents significant added value. Festina’s history in cycling speaks for itself: it is a brand with deep knowledge of this sport, and its track record alongside top-tier events reflects expertise and vision — qualities that align perfectly with the identity of Tour of the Alps. This partnership further strengthens the international positioning of our event and confirms its appeal.”
