Green jersey, green values: Melinda and Tour of the Alps together again in 2025
The long-standing partnership between the Euroregional stage race (April 21-25) and the Melinda Consortium continues to flourish. Thanks to the support of Infront, the Trentino-based company will once again sponsor the Green Jersey worn by the overall leader
The Tour of the Alps and Melinda have extended their successful collaboration into 2025, with the renowned fruit consortium once again featured on the Green Jersey of the euro-regional event. The agreement was negotiated with the support of Infront, the Tour of the Alps' strategic partner for marketing, commercial rights, and TV production.
From April 21 to 25, this partnership will come to life once again along the roads of the Tirol-Südtirol/Alto Adige-Trentino Euroregion, reinforcing a bond that dates back to the Giro del Trentino, as Melinda served as the title sponsor in the last edition of the event before the GS Alto Garda event evolved into Tour of the Alps.
Beyond sport, the synergy between #TotA and Melinda is built on shared values and common goals. Their mutual passion for cycling is well established—Melinda was also the title sponsor of the Trofeo Melinda, a summer classic in the Italian racing calendar held between Val di Non and Val di Sole (Trentino) from 1992 to 2015. Furthermore, their strong commitment to the region and sustainability remains at the heart of this collaboration, which continues to grow stronger year after year.

Founded in 1989, the Melinda Consortium is a global benchmark in the fruit industry, bringing together 4,000 Trentino-based farming families. Beyond its leadership in apple production, the consortium is a pioneer in innovation, investing in cutting-edge fruit processing technologies to preserve the 100% natural quality of its products.
Sustainability is another cornerstone of this partnership, with both Melinda and the Tour of the Alps committed to protecting the environment and the unique heritage of the mountains of the Euroregion. Melinda operates entirely on renewable energy, 11% of which is self-produced, and 97% of its orchards use drip irrigation, reducing water consumption by 30%. The company also prioritizes respecting the natural biological cycles of its orchards, in harmony with the rhythm of the seasons and the climate.

"The Tour of the Alps is an increasingly solid certainty for Melinda, confirming year after year our deep-rooted connection with both cycling and our territory," commented Andrea Fedrizzi, Marketing Manager of Melinda. "Since the very beginning of the #TotA project, Melinda, a leading brand in the fruit industry, has been featured on the leader’s jersey. This is a success story that we have nurtured from the start, and today, it makes us proud protagonists in one of the most exciting and innovative cycling events on the international stage, with an ever-growing media impact."
"The path we have embarked on with Melinda is built on shared passion and traditions deeply rooted in our history," added Giacomo Santini, President of GS Alto Garda. "We are proud to renew this partnership in 2025, confident that we have created an event capable of showcasing the excellence and sustainability of such a prestigious brand, both in Italy and internationally."
