Melinda adds flavour to #TotA’s Green Jersey

The Italian fruit consortium will again be Golden sponsor of the 2024 edition of the Euroregonal stage race, adorning the green jersey of the overall classification leader and further strengthening its bond with cycling and sports

The long-established partnership between Melinda and the Tour of the Alps is set to continue in the 2024 edition. From April 15 to 19, the two parties will bring a solid friendship that has persisted since the birth of the Euroregional project on the roads of Trentino, Südtirol/Alto Adige, and Tirol, to yet another level.

Once again, Melinda will sponsor the Green Jersey of the Tour of the Alps, worn by the general classification leader. The synergy between the Val di Non consortium and the Euroregional event stems from a passion for sports and cycling, growing each year in a tighter collaboration and harmony.

Melinda and the Tour of the Alps are also united by their constant pursuit of innovation, as evidenced by the consortium's latest revolutionary project: the new cableway connecting one of Melinda's facilities to the Rio Maggiore Mine, where apples are stored in underground cells. In addition to utilising a natural "refrigerator," which saves 30% in energy, cable transport will eliminate 6000 truck journeys on the road—a great example of vision, innovation, and sustainability.
