Alé Cycling styles 2024 Tour of the Alps’ flying colors

The Italian company has once again crafted the official leaders' jerseys for the 2024 Tour of the Alps, unveiled on March 9th at Sportler Bike in Bozen/Bolzano. Also staged on the day was a special community ride with Daniel Oss, from Bozen/Bolzano to Kurtinig adW/Cortina sSdV and back

The countdown to the 2024 Tour of the Alps (April 15-19) is ticking down rapidly. True to the DNA of this Euro-regional event through Tirol, Südtirol/Alto Adige, and Trentino, the months and weeks leading up to the start in Neumarkt/Egna are filled with initiatives and communication moments that cross among diverse publics and territories.

Bozen/Bolzano, and specifically the Sportler Bike store, hosted a day dedicated to the Euro-regional event and cycling passion on Saturday, March 9th. The occasion marked the official presentation of the four leaders' jerseys for the 2024 edition.

Just like in the two previous seasons, Alé Cycling has stamped its style on the uniforms that will adorn the winners of the four classifications: the Green Jersey - Melinda (General Classification), the Blue Jersey - Gruppo Cassa Centrale (King of the Mountains Classification), the Red Jersey - DAO Conad (Points Classification), and the White Jersey - Würth (Youth Classification).

Among the attendees were Giacomo Santini, President of GS Alto Garda, Paolo Appoloni, President of the FCI Bolzano Committee, Luca Gransinigh, Sportler Bike Project Manager, Marco Famengo, Events Manager of Alé Cycling, Luca Bonvicin of Melinda's Marketing Office, and Tour of the Alps ambassador Daniel Oss.

Following the presentation, Daniel Oss led the Community Ride, organized by Sportler Bike (partner of the Tour of the Alps) for 30 cycling enthusiasts. The ride traversed the route from Bozen/Bolzano to Kurtinig an der Weinstraße/Cortina sulla Strada del Vino, reaching the location where the first stage of the Tour of the Alps will end on Monday, April 15th, with support also provided by the Vittoria Servizio Corse, the neutral service that will also operate during the Tour of the Alps 2024.

Another community event will take place in Bozen/Bolzano on Saturday, March 16th, in collaboration with FC Südtirol and the South Tirolean committee of the Italian Cycling Federation, and under the patronage of the Municipality of Bolzano. A special Bike Day will be held for fans at the Druso Stadium on the occasion of the FC Südtirol’s game against Cremonese.

Fans choosing to come to the stadium by bike will find special guarded and free bike parking, a discount on the ticket for the Saturday, April 20th match with Cittadella, a free soft drink at the stadium refreshments points, and various gadgets and gifts from the Tour of the Alps and its partners.

THE PR-R LINE BY ALE' CYCLING DRESSES THE TOTA 2024 LEADERS

For the third consecutive year, the jerseys from Alé's PR-R line will clothe the classification leaders of the Tour of the Alps. The Italian brand, a leader in cycling apparel for over 30 years, supplies the Euro-regional cycling event the PR-R line jerseys, Alé Cycling's flagship custom range, also available for the most demanding amateurs who rely on the Italian company's quality.

The design of the 2024 #TotA leader jerseys is characterized by waves of motion, inspired by the dynamism and "electricity" typical of the stage race organized by GS Alto Garda.

"As the old saying goes, 'there is no two without three,' and here we are, ready to dress the stars of the 2024 Tour of the Alps, which promises to be lively, creative, and sparking as usual, matching the spirit that drives Alé Cycling," said Alessia Piccolo, CEO of APG, owner of the Alé Cycling brand.

Long-term partnerships with Melinda (Green Jersey) and Gruppo Cassa Centrale (Blue Jersey) continue with GS Alto Garda, while the collaboration with Würth, now in its second edition, reflects the company's culture of valuing youth, hence its sponsorship of the White Jersey for the best U25 rider.

New for 2024, the Tour of the Alps welcomes DAO Conad as the sponsor of the Red Jersey for the Points Classification. DAO (Detailers, Food, Organized), founded in 1962 and a partner of Conad since 2004, is based in Lavis, Trentino, and is deeply rooted throughout Trentino-Südtirol/Alto Adige, handling product research, supply, storage, and delivery to stores.
