The Tour of the Alps welcomes a new high-profile partner to its family. Würth MODYF, a South Tyrolean company specialized in professional clothing, will be among the partner brands of the Euro-regional cycling event, to be held from April 19th to 23rd on the roads of Tyrol, South Tyrol and Trentino.
For several years, Würth MODYF has featured significantly in cycling events and initiatives, as part of a brand awareness strategy. The choice of becoming jersey sponsor of one of the fastest-growing events in cycling represents another firm step in this direction.
Würth MODYF’s logo will also be displayed on the best young rider jersey, worn in the previous editions by top riders such as Pavel Sivakov and 2019 Tour de France winner Egan Bernal. In addition, the South Tyrol based brand will design and supply the official clothing for the whole organizing staff during the five-day race.
“Würth MODYF cares both about athletes and all the people who work behind the scenes to make events like Tour of the Alps successful”, said Würth MODYF CEO Hannes Wieland.
The partnership between the Tour of the Alps and Würth MODYF also establishes a new link between the Euro-regional event and an important company from the territory. Würth MODYF is based in Tèrmeno, core of the Adige Valley that lies along the well-known South Tyrolean Wine Road.
“We are happy to team up with Würth MODYF – said G.S Alto Garda President Giacomo Santini –. A top-notch brand that believes in cycling and its values, hailing from one of three lands united in the Euroregion. We hope that this can be the beginning of a long-lasting and very successful partnership”.
