Not only champions at #GdTM: the side initiatives of the 40th edition

A new hospitality area at the finish, Giessegi Moments and the opening toast presented by Forst to enrich the great cycling fest in Trentino

Giro del Trentino Melinda has always been much more than a cycling race. Also in the 40th edition (April 19-22), that will see the comeback of Astana’s leader Vincenzo Nibali, leading the favorites’ ranks along with Team Sky’s Spaniard Mikel Landa – several events and guests will enrich the four-day cycling fest in Trentino.

Guests, sports champions, former champions and authorities will gather in the brand-new hospitality area, located at every stage’s finish. It will be the designated meeting point between territory, entrepreneurship and sports, in the name of cycling. “The hospitality is an important innovation for Giro del Trentino Melinda – GS Alto Garda President Giacomo Santini explained, – and we are very confident it will prove a great value four our territorial realities and our partners.

After the eve’s press conference on Monday April 18th at 4 PM at the Casino in Arco (TN), featuring Vincenzo Nibali, Mikel Landa, and Trentino-guy Gianni Moscon, Giessegi Moments will follow at 6 PM in the Casino’s Sala Segantini: two former champions like Roger De Vlaeminck and Willy Debosscher will take the center stage along with Simone Fraccaro, former pro and owner of Giessegi (manufacturer of #GdTM official jerseys and sponsor of the best youngster’s white jersey).

On the following day, Tuesday April 19th at 6 PM, at the Casino in Arco (TN), Sala Segantini, there will be the 40th edition’s opening toast presented by Forst, involving guests, VIPs and team representatives.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Giro del Trentino Melinda, another important initiative will take place at the Casino in Arco (TN) in a few months, from September 2nd on: on the first anniversary of the passing of Nerino Ioppi, the long-time secretary of GS Alto Garda, a photo exhibition curated by Matteo Rossi will be opened. A special way to go through the history of the Trentino’s race, featuring unseen documents, photos from the GS Alto Garda archive, and all the emotion of Remo and Daniele Mosna’s images.
