As G.S. Alto Garda gears up for the 48th Tour of the Alps (April 21-25, 2025), the organizers are taking on another major cycling event. The company will host the annual General Assembly of the International Association of Cycling Organizers (AIOCC) on November 21-22, 2024, in Riva del Garda, Trentino.
This marks a milestone for Italian cycling, as the AIOCC General Assembly comes to Italy for the first time. Riva del Garda's Congress Centre will serve as the venue for this prestigious gathering of world cycling's key organizers.
The event is expected to draw over 100 delegates from the cycling world's upper echelons. Attendees will include Christian Prudhomme, Tour de France General Director and AIOCC President, along with top executives from major race organizers like ASO, RCS Sport, Unipublic, and Flanders Classics. Representatives from the International Cycling Union and the Italian Cycling Federation will also be present.
The AIOCC General Assembly will review the 2024 season, with a focus on rider safety. Discussions will also cover future challenges and scenarios facing international cycling.
The session is scheduled for Friday, November 22, from 09:30 to 13:00 CET.
