Reliability, efficiency and cooperation are the key pillars that inspired the group in its 40-year history. Founded in 1974 to provide services to local banks, Gruppo Cassa Centrale spread to the whole Italian territory, becoming the national leader among Cooperative Banking Groups.
The boundary between Tour of The Alps and Gruppo Cassa Centrale is a long and successful story, started during the former Giro del Trentino and still valid nowadays. This is why this partnership has been renewed for the 2021 edition, to be held in the Euroregion from April 19 to 23, organized by G.S. Alto Garda.
“Gruppo Cassa Centrale has always been passionate about sports as a way to create social inclusion and team spirit – said President Giorgio Fracalossi -. We are glad and proud to be again side by side with the Tour of the Alps, after the forced stop of last year. Our collaboration has historical roots, and through the years the visibility and reputation of this race on a professional level have grown incredibly. Even though we are still facing tough times, we want to leave a message to all local sports competitions and events: starting over is possible”.
Thanks to the dynamic spirit of Gruppo Cassa Centrale, this partnership feels very natural, and it will be visible on the KOM classification leader jersey. The talking about who the best climber will be for the 2021 edition has already begun: with 12 World Tour teams in contention, it’s hard to find only one candidate.
“Tour of the Alps and Gruppo Cassa Centrale developed a special and successful bond through the years – said G.S. Alto Garda President, Giacomo Santini, – and has given the Cooperative Banking Group the opportunity to communicate itself as an excellence in a constantly evolving business.”
